Inverter Efficiency & Running Costs
Rinnai Mini VRF is a full inverter system. The compressor ramps its output up and down to match how many indoor units are running and how hard they are working, instead of switching hard on and off, which holds a steadier temperature, runs more quietly and cuts running costs compared with older fixed-speed units.
Running a single compact outdoor unit for several rooms is more space-efficient than a separate condenser for every room, and running fully electric lets you pair the system with rooftop solar to lower running costs further.
Where Rinnai Mini VRF Makes Sense
Mini VRF suits larger homes, renovations, townhouses and multi-storey homes where outdoor space is tight, plus small offices and suites. It gives more zoning flexibility than a multi split while staying compact and residential-friendly.
For a couple of rooms a reverse cycle multi split system may be all you need, and for a large commercial building a full VRF is the better fit. We help you land on the right one at the quote.
Installation, Warranty & VEU Rebates in Victoria
A system only performs as well as its design and install. Our licensed, ARCtick-certified technicians size the outdoor unit to the load, select and place each indoor unit, run and insulate the pipework, set up the Wi-Fi control and test the system in both heating and cooling before we hand it over. Rinnai Mini VRF systems are backed by the manufacturer's warranty when installed correctly, and we stand behind every job with our own workmanship guarantee.
Eligible high-efficiency reverse cycle systems can also attract a discount under the Victorian Government's Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program, particularly when replacing older heating. Eligibility is set per model on the VEU register and the work has to be done by an accredited provider, which we are.
How the VEU Discount Works
An approved high-efficiency system generates energy-saving certificates based on the emissions it avoids over its lifetime. As an accredited installer, we convert those certificates into a discount that comes straight off your install price on the day, rather than something you claim back later.
Eligibility and the certificate value shift with the program settings and the activity, and commercial projects are assessed differently to homes, so we confirm your current eligibility and figure as part of the quote rather than quoting a number blind.
